Kewra water is composed of kewra essence and water. It is used mainly as a flavour in Indian cooking in desserts and also Kheer. It adds a slight flavour to the dessert.

Kewra water is also used in traditional Indian weddings to sprinkle slightly on Guests in diluted form with more water.
